Florence Given, a London-based artist, publicly called out Revolve for the sweatshirt that had a seemingly fat-shaming message on a thin woman. the company pulled the item from their store and issued an apology (below).
Apparently, the sweatshirt is part of a clothing line that Lena Dunham created to highlight quotes that women have received on the internet. It was supposed to draw attention to the hatred that women of different body types have been on the receiving end of but when they put the sweatshirt on a thin model, Revolve received a bunch of backlash. Lena Dunham has since pulled out of her collaboration.
