Brainerd High School in Chattanooga was on lockdown after several students experienced some kind of illness. At least 4 students were checked out by medical professionals after showing signs of illness that was apparently "not environmental."
According to a local reporter, the students are now expected to be okay after reportedly ingesting something that made them sick.
The school is now dismissing early.
UPDATE: 5 students were taken to a nearby hospital after experiencing symptoms but all are expected to be okay. The exact cause of illness has not been released yet but police are working to see if the students all had an adverse reaction to some kind of medication.
