Nashville has thousands of amazing places to eat but this East Nashville restaurant was just named "Restaurant of the Year" by food blog Eater...and it's one you probably haven't heard of!
Penninsula, over on Eastland, got top honors for not only its amazing food but its incredible atmosphere as well! The Spanish-Portuguese-inspired food (aka countries in the Iberian Pennisula...hence the name) gives you a cultural experience from across the globe.
The menu boasts shareable plates paired perfectly with different wines.
The menu changes seasonally so make sure you stop by multiple times throughout the year to get the full experience!
Oh...and make sure you make a reservation in advance - the cozy little restaurant only seats 35 people at one time!
