A Nashville music producer is accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend and holding her hostage in his house for a week.
"Bobby" Shin allegedly got mad at his ex-girlfriend for smoking a cigarette in his house and started to beat her, kick her and struck her with a vacuum.
He then forced her to tend on him and refused to let her leave the house for multiple days. She was eventually able to escape by saying she was going to make him food downstairs where she snuck out and was able to get help from a passerby.
Apparently, Shin and the victim have a history of domestic abuse - he is charged with aggravated kidnapping and sexual battery and is held on a $150,000 bond.
