You read that right! A guy in Dublin, Ireland required medical attention after he repeatedly injected himself with his own semen to try and treat his lower back pain.
He injected it in his arm on a monthly basis for 1.5 years. The injections eventually caused an abscess to form, which the doctors attempted to treat - but the man ended up checking himself out before they made an incision to drain it.
The case was revealed in a medical journal called 'Semenly’ Harmless Back Pain: An Unusual Presentation of a Subcutaneous Abscess. The man devised the "cure" on his own without medical advice and used a hypodermic needle that he purchased online.
