Cole Sprouse Says Dylan Sprouse Cried Watching Him In 'Five Feet Apart'

Premiere Of Lionsgate's "Five Feet Apart" - Red Carpet

Cole Sprouse is super proud of his new film Five Feet Apart. The 26-year-old took to Instagram to thank his co-stars and crew for bring the project to life. One thing he's especially grateful for? They managed to make his twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, cry during the emotional film. According to Cole, that memory is something he'll "smile about for the rest of my life."

Five Feet Apart follows two teenage patients with cystic fibrosis who fall in love and must remain six feet apart at all times to avoid cross infections. The movie is already being compared to the juggernaut YA movie adaptation ofThe Fault in Our Stars, so, yeah definitely pack tissues when you watch this one.

Here's Cole's full message about the film:

As we push into the final week before the [Five Feet Apart] opening this Friday I just wanted to say how proud I am of everyone in this photo. To make my brother and father cry in a room full of young women and business professionals is something I’ll smile about for the rest of my life.[Justin Baldoni], can’t put into words how impressed you’re about to make everyone, and thank you for the late nights spent editing Haley Lu Richardson snot from her crying scenes. Can’t wait for you guys to see the film.

Meanwhile, Dylan also shared a sweet message about Cole and the film on his Instagram, though he hilariously denies his brother's claim he got a little weepy during Five Feet Apart.

Very proud of Cole Sprouse for all his hard work on 'Five Feet Apart' even though he’s dressed like when Spongebob goes to prom. I swear I’m tough and didn’t cry in the theatre and if anyone saw me do that they were being deceived. All of the performances in this are amazing and you all should see it soon so we can **not** cry together. Happy I got a chance to cheese with Cole on this special occasion.

So cute! Five Feet Apart hits theaters on Friday (March 15). Remember: pack your tissues!
