Tigers Arrive at the Nashville Zoo

Friday, April 12th is a big day for the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. Its the day we've all been waiting for - the arrival of the Tiger Crossroads exhibit!

The exhibit will feature four-year-old female Sumatran Tigers named Huntley, Ace, and Frances. Unfortunately, Sumatran Tigers are on the critically endangered list, with only 400 left in the wild. The Nashville Zoo is working with the Sumatran Tiger Species Survival Plan on future plans for expanding the genetic diversity of the species.
