Steve Lickteig grew up as one of Don & Mary Jane Lickteig's 9 children - or so he thought!
Shortly after his 18th birthday, he found out that his older sister Joanie was actually his mom...and his "parents" were his grandparents.
The craziest part? HE DIDN'T EVEN FIND OUT FROM HIS FAMILY!
He grew up in a small town and apparently everyone in the community knew...except him. Steve's two best friends from high school told him the night before his graduation. He didn't confront his family for another month and a half after he found out.
Joanie and Steve discussed the incident and then didn't speak again for 15 years.
