Two Wilson County Schools closed for the Rest of Year After Tornado Damage

Not only did the tornado this past Tuesday sweep across the metro areas of Nashville, but many have found themselves displaced after the storms in both Wilson and Putnam county. Besides homes being destroyed, several schools have damaged.

Both West Wilson Middle School and Stoner Creek Elementary announced they will be closed for the school year after suffering damage. The two schools were believed to have been in the direct path of the tornado that tore through the area. No word of exactly how school will resume just yet.
