CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the company is scouting locations to build the U.S. "gigafactory" that is going to produce the Cybertruck and Model Y vehicle.

Musk didn’t provide further information in the tweets, but a source told TechCrunch that Nashville is on a short list of contenders
With so many tech startups coming to Nashville and giving it a Silicon Valley feel, it's easy to see why luxury car company may be eyeing Nashville as its new hub. Tesla has a short list of locations it is scouting but it's looking like Nashville is one of the main contenders.
