Tennessee Correctional Facilities Receive 40,000 Masks from REFORM Alliance

Both artists and moguls, Meek Mill and Jay-Z have been doing a lot of work out side of music and making their presence known when it comes to equal rights in prison systems. Besides Meek Mill and Jay-Z's efforts in criminal justice reform, their organization, the Reform Alliance is sending out about 100,000 masks to correctional facilities across the country.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, within jails and prisons as well, the two will be sending about 50,000 masks to Rikers Island jail and another 2,500 masks to Riker's medical facility. An estimated 40,000 masks are being delivered to the Tennessee Department of Correction and another 5,000 will be sent to the Mississippi State Penitentiary.

The NBA will also be contributing one million masks to essential workers.
