Summer is finally here and we're excited to be out! Besides some of the best parks, a delightful skyline and the best food, Tennessee also has some of the best aquariums in the United States. If you were thinking about doing something different this summer or taking time to learn about new animals, the aquarium may be the place to be. Check out a few aquariums you should add to your list.
Tennessee Aquarium
Located in Chattanooga, the Tennessee Aquarium is home to more than 10,000 animals! You can also witness the animals on IMAX theater. And get your walking shoes ready, you'll need at least two hours to get through the entire aquarium.
Aquarium
This restaurant doubles as an entertaining view of some of the most beautiful animals underwater. Located at Opry Mills, you can enjoy a dinner while learning and seeing exotic fish at the same time.
Ripley's Aquarium
Ripley's usually known for their believe it or not, Ripley's also has an aquarium located in Gatlinburg! Here, you can sleep with the sharks, watch live dive shows and of course get up close and personal with the penguins.
