Tennessee State University Waves ACT Scores for Fall 2020 Students

With more than 137 schools closed until Fall in Tennessee and online classes being a standard, we can say the coronavirus has definitely changed what would be our "normal" activities. Due to the virus, Tennessee State University is waiving ACT scores as a requirement for admission. This will apply to incoming freshman this fall.

TSU will join other colleges like liberal arts colleges in Massachusetts to public universities in California, in waiving ACT or SAT requirements. Incoming freshman will still have to maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA and an official transcript for admission.
