Spike Lee is back with his newest film. The Oscar-winning director presents Da 5 Bloods that will be available on Netflix June 12. The cast features Chadwich Boseman, Delroy Lindo, Clarke Peters, Norm Lewis and Isiah Whitlock, Jr. The movie tells the story of four veterans that go back to Vietnam in search for buried treasure and the remains of their squad leader. With Chambers Brothers' legendary "Time Has Come Today" serving as the theme jumping from flashbacks to the war to their present day. The trailer ends with a fist raised in the air.
Spike Lee film credits include legendary films Do The Right Thing, "Malcom X", "She's Gotta Have It," and his first Academy award in 2019 for the adapted screenplay of "BlacKkKlansman, which had nominations for best picture and best director.
