Instagram to Impose 90 Second Rule for Copyrighted Music on Livestream

Live streaming has become one of the main forms of education as well as entertainment during these days of quarantine and social distancing. If you have been on social media, you'll see many artists and DJs sharing their skills and performing live with some of your favorite tunes. Unfortunately, nine times out of 10 they get shut down multiple times because of copyright issues. But now, Instagram has announced the 90 second rule.

A new pop-up will warn users who are featuring more than 90 seconds of a copyrighted track to stop or risk having their stream shut down. You may have not seen this happen with Club Quarantine's DJ, D-Nice but for others this has been a challenge while entertaining. Will this help?
