It's no secret that the late R&B songstress Aaliyah, didn't have her music on any streaming services. Since her untimely death of August 25, 2001 fans had now way of listening to her music on any of the streaming services. There had been rumors swarming that her music would be on various sites for years. But according to Aaliyah's estate, her music may finally be headed to streaming services.
For a long time, Aaliyah fans had to rely on YouTube playlists to get her music. But on the 19th anniversary of her death, her official Twitter account posted that talks have reopened with record labels to make her entire catalog of music available.
