Nashville Bars Allowed at 50% Capacity

As we continue to track the number of COVID-19 cases it looks as if some restrictions are being lifted. Mayor Cooper announced Thursday that rules will be changed ahead of the city moving into Phase Three of reopening. Bars will be able to open at 50 percent capacity starting Friday.

This will count 50 people per floor or 50 people outside, depending on which is less. Bars will also be allowed to stay open until 11PM.

Mayor Cooper said the city expects to move into Phase Three on October 1.
