As cases are still increasing, some cities and states are lifting their rules. One Middle Tennessee county is lifting it's mandatory mask order. Rutherford County Mayor Bill Ketron's office announced starting September 22 at 5PM, the face covering order will it expire. The order was supposed to expire on September 30th. Mayor Ketron explained via a public letter saying his office is "encouraged by the data trends and want to continue down that path!"
Residents are to continue to comply with businesses which request masks to be worn.
