Nashville Moves to Phase III of Reopening

All over the world, many cities and states are starting to reopen. Nashville Mayor John Cooper announced on Thursday Davidson County will move to Phase III. The reopening will begin Friday, October 1st. Mayor Cooper said there have been improvements in the fight against COVID-19 as the city marked a 7 day positivity rate of 4.1%, the lowest rate since the pandemic started.

In Phase III will see events open up to 30% capacity or 500 people. In addition, restaurants will resume allowing guests at bars with up to 8 people per table. Bars and other limited-service restaurants will now be allowed to open at 50% capacity with up to 100 people on each floor and 100 patrons outdoors.
