Middle Tennessee's Healthcare workers have been on the clock CONSTANTLY fighting the COVID-19 pandemic for the last year, and we know that it's a brutal and sometimes thankless job. So we've teamed up with a few incredible partners to create something special to honor the heroes working to LITERALLY save lives every single day. This mural would not be possible without the hard work of so many people!
Artist Whitney Herrington is a native Tennessean. She creates illustrations and is a full-time muralist and high school art teacher. Whitney has painted a number of murals in her hometown of Columbia as well as in nearby cities such as Centerville, Lawrenceburg, and most recently, Dyersburg. Her style can be described as Pop Art-ish, hard-edged, and bright with a little whimsy thrown in for good measure. Whitney is inspired by Andy Warhol, Shepard Fairey, and Olimpia Zagnoli.
