John Krasinski is officially the world's "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2024, and wife Emily Blunt has something to say about his new title.
The Office star told People that being the "Sexiest Man Alive" might have earned him some credit in Hollywood, but he expects to receive additional chores at home to "earn" the title.
"I think it's going to make me do more household chores. After this comes out, she'll be like, 'All right, that means you're going to really earn it here at home.'"
Before Krasinski was honored as People's "Sexiest Man Alive," Blunt joked that if he won, they would wallpaper their house with the cover.
"Do we have that on camera? Because that’s like a binding contract, I think. My children will love that, it won’t be weird at all."
The pair currently reside in Brooklyn with their two daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, 8, and have been married for 14 years. The Jack Ryan standout praised his relationship for being a safe space to grow and evolve.
"It's that beautiful thing where when you’re married to someone, you’re constantly learning and changing and evolving. And I’m so lucky to go through all that with her."
When asked how he reacted to the news of being voted the sexiest man on Earth right now, Krasinski revealed that he thought he was being punked.
"Just immediate blackout, actually. Zero thoughts. Other than maybe I'm being punked. That's not how I wake up, thinking, 'Is this the day that I'll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?' And yet it was the day you guys did it. You guys have really raised the bar for me."
