Deandre Lewis was driving when he witnessed the driver swerving. Lewis pulled out his cell phone and started to film. Within moments, the truck ran over a barricade on a freeway on ramp and came to a stop.
Deandre immediately jumped out of his vehicle to confront the driver.
“What I did was crazy,” he said. “I had already seen what he looked like, so I knew I wasn't going to get hurt.”
The police department doesn’t recommend confronting drunk drivers. Instead, they recommend calling the police and keeping a safe distance.
