We are known here in Tennessee as the volunteer state and it just goes to show that people around this state are always there to help out those in need. Take for example Jack White. Now, he's not originally from Nashville, but this is his second home and we have adopted him as a hometown guy anytime we talk about him.
Jack White has a show coming up on the 20th and he's using that show to help out those in need. Jack White and Third Man Record announced that they will be hosting a food drive for turkeys and non-perishable goods. These items donated will benefit the Nashville Rescue Misson which is a partner of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. With your donations as a thank you, you're going to be able to get discounted tickets for his upcoming show at the Bridgestone Arena on the 20th.
But, that's not all. Not only with your donation will you get a discounted tickets, you'll be entered in to win a special Jack White-signed Boarding House Reach test pressing AND your their tickets will get upgraded to side stage seats at this show!
To drop off these items, you can either visit Third Man Records OR the Bridgestone Arena box office during normal business hours from now until November 18th. Items that can be donated are as followed according to the Third Man Records Website:
a) One frozen turkey (10 lbs+) – (Drop off at Third Man Records only)
Any three of the following items:
#10 Can of Green Beans, Corn, or Mixed Vegetables, Corn Bread Mix, Stuffing, Mix Can of Cranberry Sauce, Sugar, and Coffee.
