Fan Injured After Fall At Nissan Stadium During Titans Game

Today during the Titans game, a fan was rushed to the hospital after falling through the netting at Nissan Stadium. According to reports from the Tennessean, Thomas Carrico Jr. was sent to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where Metro Police are saying he is in critical, but stable condition.

The incident happened during the third quarter when the cheerleaders were throwing t-shirts in the crowd. That is when one of the shirts had landed on the netting about the tunnel that leads into the Titans locker room.

The Titans did confirm the fall and released a statement on the incident.

"At today’s game, an adult fan fell from the lower bowl seating area to the ground. The fan received attention from emergency personnel on the scene and was transported to a local hospital," the statement said.
