We've seen the stories online where someone calls in and pays off the layaway gifts at a store for families right before Christmas. This time, it's right here in Nashville and involves Kid Rock. It happened on Friday, December 7th.
Kid Rock called the Walmart on Dickerson Pike and told the store that he wanted to pay off all of the remaining balances on all of the customers layaway. The Walmart employess then took to Facebook to thank him for his generosity.
Kid Rock's generosity, helped out 350 Nashville families. He was also inspired to do this after Tyler Perry did the same.
