Tennessee Will Ticket You For Driving In Left Lane

The left lane is meant for passing only, and if you're caught riding in this lane, you could get a misdemeanor charge and a $50 fine.

The law is called the 'Slow Poke' law. This law states drivers are only allowed to use the left lane for passing only.

With this law in effect, the Tennessee Highway Patrol hopes that this will help ease traffic back-ups and improve driving on the interstate.
