70,000 Pounds of Chicken Nuggets Recalled For Having WHAT In Them

I must say one of my favorite things to eat is chicken nuggets. Don't judge me!

Perdue Foods made an announcement for a voluntary recall of nearly 70,000 pounds of their frozen, glueten-free nuggets. The reason they made this announcement was that they had concerns that the chicken may contained wood.

This recall comes after 3 people had complained to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service that they found bits of wood in their nuggets. Now before you start to run to your fridge Perdue said this recall isn't for all of their nuggets. The recall is for the “SimplySmart Organics Gluten Free Chicken Nugget Products.”
