For the past few days we've seen on the news about teachers protesting a raise increase by doing a 'Sick Out'
Since it started on Friday and carried over to Monday, over 1,000 teachers protested the proposed 3% increase from Mayor Briley. This action has gotten the attention of the community and more people are getting involved.
Once the word got out about the 'Sick Out' an Instagram page was created called 'sickteachers' This instagram page is dedicated to inform the public about what's going on with the teachers movement and how you can help.
