Comedian Says Kobe "Got What He Deserved" In Social Media Video

Like most of the world I was shocked when I got the news about Kobe. I thought that had to be a false report or someone trying to get clicks. Knowing that it was real hurt, especially all the other lives we lost. Growing up I was a Kobe fan and like most Kopbe fans, I'd yell 'KOBE' every time I shot a basketball or a paper ball into the trash.

I was very shocked when I read about this story of comedian Ari Shaffir making a comment about Kobe's death.

Shaffir posted a video on social media saying,

'There's a lot of hate in the world, every once in a while there's a good story. A guy who got away with rape got his today. Kobe Bryant is gone!...I'm here in Charlotte, home of the team that originally drafted him. Maybe that wouldn't have happened if he had stayed.'

According to TMZ, Shaffir was dropped by his talent agency after the video, and Shaffir later posted on Instagram explaining his video. You can see the video and his response below!
