Nashville-based Battleground Podcast is pleased to announce the addition of two brand new hosts for the show, Kayla Babcock and Lana Harrington. Kayla and Lana come to us from Music City Horror podcast, a horror podcast that also featured host Eli Phipps, that ended in late 2019. These gives the show a chance to have a female perspective while also growing the show to a larger audience.
Kayla got into the sport around 2014, but has made up for it since, attending several large PPVs in person including Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, Evolution, and Double or Nothing. Some of her all-time favorite performers are Stone Cold Steve Austin, Batista, Lita, Scott Hall, Trish Stratus, AJ Lee, Chyna, and Mickie James. Her current favorites are Effy, Finn Balor, Pete Dunne, Okada, Sanada, Jordynne Grace, Velveteen Dream, Bianca Belair and Naomi. She is a professional makeup artist and hopes to one day do make up for a major wrestling organization.
Lana is a lifelong wrestling fan, having attended Starrcade 1996 PPV as a kid! Some of her favorite current wrestlers are Adam Cole (bay bay) Darby Allin, Shayna Baszler, Britt Baker DMD,“The Fiend”Bray Wyatt and the current AEW Le Champion, Chris Jericho. She is excited to talk about her passion for pro wrestling with a larger audience.
The duo will be featured in a segment called“Belles of the Brawl”where they will break down their favorite moments from the previous week involving women in professional wrestling. They will also be helping with interviews and social media for the show.
