First Look At Social Distancing Live Concert

Things right now are starting to reopen in phases, but the question remains, what about live shows? How will things be when concerts are back? Will there be social distance rules in place? Well, we have the first look at what a concert looks like with social distancing.

The concert took place on May 18th at a venue in Arkansas. Bishop Gunn's frontman Travis McCready was the first to try out a 'fan pod' system at the venue.

This was one of the first shows in the US with a crowd since the coronavirus caused the temporary ban of mass gatherings. To follow the social distancing guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, capacity at the TempleLive theater in Fort Smith holds 1,100 was reduced to 229 people. Concert goers were seated in groups of 2-13, named "pods," with each pod distanced from the others.
