We have gotten reports from TMZ, that Regis Philbin has died. According to a statement from his family, Philbin passed away this weekend.
They told People, "His family and friends are forever grateful for the time we got to spend with him – for his warmth, his legendary sense of humor, and his singular ability to make every day into something worth talking about. We thank his fans and admirers for their incredible support over his 60-year career."
A source has told TMZ that Philbin died Saturday morning after suffering a heart attack at his home in Manhattan, New York. At this time the family hasn't confirmed the cause of death at this time, but we will keep you updated as more information comes out.
