County bans trick-or-treating this Halloween due to coronavirus

It was only a matter of time before we started seeing headlines like these! One of the biggest counties in the country is taking precautions to stem potential coronavirus transmission this Halloween.

Los Angeles County has banned door-to-door trick-or-treating.

New guidelines released on Tuesday, from the LA County's Department of Public Health said, "it can be very difficult to maintain proper social distancing on porches and at front doors especially in neighborhoods that are popular with trick or treaters.” Also things not permitted are carnivals, large gatherings, festivals, and haunted house attractions.

The county suggests online events, decorating your home with Halloween material, and other safer activities to prevent COVID-19 exposure.Do you think parts of Tennessee will be next?
