New iPhone Update Show You When Apps Use Your Microphone and Camera

Earlier in the week Apple had their BIG announcement about upcoming things and some people were upset because there wasn't a new iPhone on the way. The new products are apple watches and iPad's and a shiny new iOS update. However, one new iOS 14 feature is confusing some users.

There is a new security feature included in iOS 14 that displays an orange dot at the top of your iPhone when an app is actively using your phone's microphone. There is also a green dot that shows up if there is an app that is using your camera.

According to Apple, “An indicator appears at the top of your screen whenever an app is using your microphone or camera. And in Control Center, you can see if an app has used them recently,'
