Toronto Raptors Could Play Their Upcoming Season In Nashville

Tennessee already has an NBA team, but Nashville could be getting one temporarily. According to reports from The Athletic, the Toronto Raptors visited Nashville to be a potential host for the 20-21 NBA season. The league and the players came to an agreement to begin the 2020-21 NBA season prior to Christmas, and play 72 regular season games. Of course due to the current Pandemic, international travel between the United States and Canada is going to be an issue for the foreseeable future.

This issue has led to the Raptors looking for other cities to be a potential host for the NBA season. Don't get too excited though

Other places linked to the team are Louisville, Kentucky, and the general New York/New Jersey area. As of right now there hasn't been any word yet on the decision, but it'll happen soon with training camps happening in less than a month, and the Raptors will want to be adjusted to their new home before then.
