Peter Jackson Gives Us Sneak Peek Of 'The Beatles: Get Back' Documentary

A new documentary looking at the recording of The Beatles' final album will finally hit the theatres on August 27, 2021.

The Beatles: Get Back, directed by Peter Jackson, was compiled from over 55 hours of previously unreleased footage of the band crafting its Let It Be album in the studio. It also features scenes from the band's famous rooftop performance on London's Savile Row. The documentary was supposed to be out this year, but due to the pandemic, things had to be put on hold. According to the description on the video,

'Acclaimed filmmaker Peter Jackson has released an exclusive sneak peek of his upcoming documentary “The Beatles: Get Back” for fans everywhere to enjoy. The 5-minute special look is available to fans worldwide on TheBeatles.com and streaming on Disney+.

Jackson said, “We wanted to give the fans of The Beatles all over the world a holiday treat, so we put together this five-minute sneak peek at our upcoming theatrical film ‘The Beatles: Get Back.’ We hope it will bring a smile to everyone’s faces and some much-needed joy at this difficult time.”
