Family Video stores will soon be history.
The rental chain announced they are officially closing its remaining 250 stores across the U.S. and will be holding liquidation sales to get rid of everything, including movies and games.
Family Video has been around for 43 years.
Streaming services, of course, have taken over for most people, but Family Video hung in there even after Blockbuster and Hollywood Video went bust.
When was the last time you went into one of those stores to actually rent a movie or game?
