Tennessee Rep. John Mark Windle has introduced a bill requesting the state capitol commission to install a statue of Dolly Parton on state capitol grounds.
According to the bill the statue will be created and installed to recognize Dolly Parton for all of her contributions to Tennessee.
The money for the statue would come from a separate account within the state general fund.
The money would be used to design, construct and install the statue.
