Rocker-turned-director Rob Zombie has been tapped to helm a big screen adaptation of "The Munsters."
Murphy's Multiverse reports Zombie will also write the script for the flick, which is scheduled to begin filming in Budapest this May. Zombie has reportedly hired his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, to star as Lilly Munster, while "3 From Hell" star Jeff Daniel Phillips has been hired to play Herman Munster.
Neither Zombie nor Universal Studios has confirmed the report.
