Twitter has suspended an account created to share posts from a website recently launched by former President Donald Trump.
Officials with Twitter said the new handle was an attempt to bypass the ban of his personal account.
The new site, "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump" went live Tuesday, along with its accompanying Twitter account.
By late Wednesday night, it had been suspended.
A spokesperson for Trump told Forbes they "did not create the account that was shut down."
Twitter banned Trump after the deadly riot at the Capitol in January.
