Dolores Avery, the mother of Making a Murderer star Steve Avery, has died at the age of 83.
According to Avery's lawyer, she passed away this morning after being in hospice care for 3 weeks.
"Losing my parents before I got out has always been my worst nightmare," said Steve Avery on the death of his mother. "Now it has happened."
Steve's brother Earl says that their mother was in hospice and passed away from dementia.
