A Nashville man was arrested after breaking into Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, and attempting to steal over two dozen beers. Security at the stadium saw William Thrift on surveillance video loading 29 beers from a cooler into a black bag and a box.
When confronted by stadium security, Thrift ran from the stadium, leaving his beers behind. He was located a short time later in the stadium parking lot where he admitted to the theft and told police he did it because “the door was open.”
