A massive asteroid twice the size of the Empire State Building will fly past the Earth today.
The asteroid - which scientists have given the catchy nickname of 'Asteroid 7482 (1994 PC1)' - measures over 3,200 feet across.
Fortunately, it will miss Earth by roughly 1.2 million miles, so there's no concern about a Don't Look Up-type situation. But you can watch it happen on livestream at www.virtualtelescope.eu, starting at 3pm EST.
What do you think would happen if an asteroid really *was* headed towards Earth?
