As a parent seeing stories like this make me sick to my stomach. The horrifying video was shot in Uzbekistan where a mother is seen intentionally dropping her 3 year old child in the bear pit. Zuzu the bear walked over to the child and started to sniff the child.
Thanks to quick acting zookeepers, the zookeepers got into the pit and lure the bear into an enclosed area of the pit. The zookeepers were then able to lockup the bear and save the little girl.
Luckily the little girl on suffered some cuts and a concussion.
The mom was arrested & charged with attempted murder and facing up to 15 years in prison.
