Apparently your old-fashioned frosted beer in a glass isn't Instagram-friendly enough, so a handful of breweries around the country have decided to add a little sparkle.
Literally....glitter.
Using a product called "Edible Luster Dust", brewers are adding literal glitter to their beer, but it has no taste and is really only a cosmetic thing.
I mean, except for the fact that you're LITERALLY EATING GLITTER.
Those who make it say that the glitter basically dissolves and doesn't stay in your body or affect anything, but I mean...has anyone ever eaten a tube full of glitter to see what happens?
Anyway, at least if you have to pee glitter for a couple days, the Instagram story was totally worth it
So far, no Nashville brewers are known to be making glitter beer.
