On what would have been Mr. Rogers' 90th birthday, the trailer has been revealed for the limited-release movie about his life, Won't You Be My Neighbor
See how a little kindness makes a world of difference. Won't You Be My Neighbor? is an intimate look at America’s favorite neighbor: Mister Fred Rogers.— Won't You Be My Neighbor? (@MrRogersMovie) March 20, 2018
Watch the trailer and see it in select theaters June 8th. #MrRogersMovie pic.twitter.com/NiOw6rh5bM
For 33 years Mr. Rogers helped children navigate the trials and tribulations of growing up.
He was unafraid to tackle social issues like war, racism, divorce, and bullying. He helped saved PBS in a Congressional hearing. And most importantly, he was an integral part of the social education of millions of kids just like myself that grew up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
Go ahead. TRY to watch that trailer without getting a little emotional.
