Apparently Starbucks' highly-publicized sensitivity training needs another course. ANOTHER incident went viral when a Starbucks employee decided to make fun of a customer's speech impediment.
A customer named Sam, who suffers from a speech impediment (a stutter), placed an order and stuttered when asked his name. He was rightfully SHOCKED when his coffee came, and his name was spelled "SSSAM".
For reference, this is NOT the same Starbucks that had two black men arrested back in April for hanging out in the restaurant waiting for their friend, but not ordering anything. That store, however, was also in Philadelphia.
Initially after the complaint, Starbucks offered Sam an apology and a $5 gift card, but has since fired the barista.
