College student and model Katarina Zarutskie was posing for some shots in the Bahamas but got a little bit more than she bargained for in the middle of the shoot.
While walking along the beach with her boyfriend, she spotted a coral reef where a bunch of nurse sharks were hanging out. Nurse sharks, while not completely docile, are not known to be dangerous to humans, and generally feed along the ocean floor. There were quite a few people swimming near the sharks, and Katarina thought it would be a cool photo opportunity.
By the way...it was...except one of the sharks didn't take too kindly to Katarina's Instagram moment.
She escaped with a pretty gnarly bite mark on her arm but nothing life-altering, and I'll bet she doesn't do any more Instagram photo shoots surrounded by sharks!
