Starting today, Amazon will offer free standard shipping on ALL orders through their website and app without a minimum spend to qualify. Those orders typically arrive within 5-8 business days. For Prime Members, however, the deal is even sweeter, as Amazon will offer free SAME DAY shipping.

Amazon's free shipping offer is in place just in time to challenge big retailers like Target and Best Buy, who are expanding their e-commerce footprint by offering free shipping incentives to steal business away.
