James Shaw, Jr. To Replace Kid Rock In Nashville Christmas Parade

Kid Rock is out as grand marshal of the Nashville Christmas Parade.

After a controversial interview on Fox News' Fox & Friends this morning, in which he said of The View's Joy Behar "Screw that b****", The Parade has removed him from tomorrow's event, citing that organizers "feel that the grand marshal should personify the spirit of Nashville"

James Shaw, Jr., the man who bravely wrestled down an active shooter at an Antioch Waffle House earlier this year, has been invited to replace Kid Rock as grand marshal.

The Nashville Christmas Parade steps off at 8:30am tomorrow morning and features huge balloons, live performances, and more, including a performance on the 107.5 the River float with Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross.

Performance Zone tickets can be bought here, with proceeds benefiting Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

[Update 6:05pm]

There are rumors that this story may not be over yet, as some sponsors of the Parade are threatening to pull their money if Kid Rock is out.  Stay tuned.
